Settlers burned down hundreds of old olive trees in the lands of Khillet al-Daba in Masafer Yatta, south of al-Khalil, on Sunday.
Ratib al-Jabour, the coordinator of the Popular and National Committees to Resist the Wall and Settlements, stated that a group of settlers from the Mitzpe Yair settlement attacked the citizens'fields in the Khillet al-Daba area of Masafer Yatta.
He pointed out that the settlers threw suspicious objects that set fire to large areas and burned down more than 400 olive trees belonging to the Dababsa family.
The Civil Defense crews and the Palestinian citizens put out the fire before it reached the citizens'homes, according to Jabour.
