Le Collectif des défenseurs des droits de l'homme sahraouis (CODESA) a publié un rapport documentant plus de 38.000 crimes et violations graves commis contre les civils sahraouis au Sahara occidental par l'occupation marocaine au cours des cinquante années de présence militaire sur ce territoire.
Selon le CODESA, le nombre total de crimes et violations graves des droits des Sahraouis s'élève à "38.041 cas, dont 317 exécutions extrajudiciaires, 13 décès résultant de condamnations à mort, 390 disparitions forcées de longue durée, 4.565 enlèvements de courte durée, 8.506 atteintes à l'intégrité physique et à la sécurité personnelle, 1.242 arrestations politiques".

Last week the Pentagon, under "War Secretary" Pete Hegseth, carried out yet another military attack on a boat in the high seas that the Administration claims is smuggling drugs. That makes 23 boats blown up by the US military in the waters off Latin America - most near Venezuela - and nearly 100 persons killed.
To date the US government has provided no evidence to back up its claim that these boats are smuggling fentanyl and other dangerous drugs into the United States.

The US State Department has renamed the US Institute of Peace the Donald J Trump Institute of Peace, proclaiming that it did so "to reflect the greatest dealmaker in our nation's history."
"President Trump will be remembered by history as the President of Peace," tweeted Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the announcement.
Earlier this year the president's intelligence chief Tulsi Gabbard made a similar social media post, tweeting that "President Trump IS the President of Peace.
