Donald Trump planned to secure Russian support for an attack on Iran in exchange for "handing over" Ukrainian territories that, in opinion polls conducted before 2014, identified much more strongly with Russia than with the European Union.

After cutting off China's supply of Venezuelan oil by simply seizing it from Venezuela, and after blocking the transport routes for Iranian oil shipments to China, the USA only needed that Russia-China's largest supplier of oil and natural gas-starts using this position to cooperate with the USA in subjugation of China to the USA by deciding whether or not China would have sufficient energy resources for its industry.

On 10 July 2026, I was on the "Deep Dive" with Lt. Col. (ret.) Danny Davis, where we talked mainly about Iran, although we did discuss Ukraine in the last part of the show. On Iran, we talked about the tit-for-tat bombing campaign between Iran and the US that has replaced the failed strategic bombing campaign (28 February-8 April 2026) and the failed naval blockade (13 April-17 June 2026).

They didn't just lose the narrative. They lost the country.

I explained that the tit-for-tat game that Iran and Washington are playing works perfectly for Israel. Israel is the source of the violence. Washington is merely acting for Israel. It is not Washington that gains from war with Iran. The war is in behalf of Israel's agenda of Greater Israel.
