Do We Still Have a Constitution ?

By Andrew P. Napolitano

May 21, 2026

This week, President Donald Trump announced that he plans to give away tax dollars without congressional or judicial authorization to his friends and allies whom he believes were mistreated by the Biden administration. Can he legally do that?

Here is the backstory.

During the last year of his first term in office, Trump's tax returns were stolen along with those of 425,000 others by an IRS employee who leaked Trump's to media outlets.

How Empire Manufactures Global War

By Prof Michel Chossudovsky
Global Research

May 21, 2026

In this in‑depth conversation, economist and Global Research founder Prof. Michel Chossudovsky lays out how NATO's proxy war in Ukraine, the genocide in Palestine, economic warfare, and a multi‑trillion‑dollar nuclear rearmament drive all connect into a single, emerging global war.

He argues that we are already inside a world‑scale conflict-military, financial, and informational-that is widely misunderstood, dangerously normalized, and far closer to a nuclear tripwire than most people realize.

Will Affordability Bankrupt President Trump ?

By James Bovard
The Future of Freedom Foundation

May 21, 2026

In early 2022, I predicted in the New York Post that inflation would politically bankrupt President Joe Biden. Will the affordability issue similarly bankrupt President Donald Trump?

Trump constantly blusters as if he deserves the Nobel Prize for Economic Triumphs, just like he supposedly deserved the Nobel Peace Prize. In a January speech in Iowa, he doubled down on his triumphs by referring to himself in the third person: "Just after one year of President Trump, our economy is booming....

The President Who Cries War, then Peace, Then War

By Larry C. Johnson

May 21, 2026

The lad who inspired Aesop to write, "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" (also known as "The Shepherd Boy and the Wolf"), has grown up and is now President of the United States. Since February 28, 2026, Donald Trump has released 11 statements suggesting the war with Iran was over or that a negotiated deal is close, only it turns out to be a hoax.

What emerges across nearly three months is a remarkably consistent cycle: Trump declares victory or proximity to a deal → Iran denies it or the facts on the ground contradict it → Trump escalates rhetoric → a new round of claimed breakthroughs begins.

Trump's Self-Serving Business Deals Have Prostituted the Office of the President

By Paul Craig Roberts
PaulCraigRoberts.org

May 21, 2026

As far as I can tell, Donald Trump is the first American president in my lifetime to be actively engaged in business while serving as President of the United States. I have no memory of Eisenhower, Kennedy, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, George H.W. Bush, or George W. Bush starting and running businesses while occupying the Oval Office. It is true that Lincoln was a known agent of the railroads and that Grant's administration was corrupt, as other 19th-century administrations might have been when the creation of a new nation offered so much to plunder to those with power.

U.s. and China Dismiss British Disinformation

Moon of Alabama

Next to all the AI slop appearing every minute there are still the classic disinformation items channeled through the main stream press.

Today's Financial Times presented this 'scoop':

Xi Jinping told Donald Trump that Putin might 'regret' invasion of Ukraine (archived)

Xi Jinping told Donald Trump during their talks last week that Russian President Vladimir Putin might end up regretting his invasion of Ukraine.

America's Plan for World War Three

By Eric Zuesse
Eric's Substack

May 21, 2026

The U.S. Government's plan for World War Three (WW3) is what it has been since the U.S. empire and its "Cold War" began in order to take control over the entire world - that started on 25 July 1945. However, because the U.S. has for decades now been spending over 50% of the world's military expenses (reaching "65% OF TOTAL ANNUAL WORLD MILITARY EXPENDITURES" in 2024) in order to maintain around 900 foreign military bases to police the world for the benefit of America's billionaires who control most of the world's major international corporations, the domestic U.S.

Josep Borrell is a Spanish socialist who held several high-ranking positions in the European Union. Until 2024, he was a vice-president of the European Commission and the high representative of the European Union for foreign affairs and security policy. In that capacity, he ran Europe's External Action Service, which is the diplomatic body that executes Europe's foreign policy decisions around the world.

Tiktok and the Noonday Devil

The many dangers of smartphones and screen time for kids have been long articulated by now, but most have missed what this distraction is doing to their souls.

here is no group of people on Earth more sick and tired of hearing about the ill effects and addictive properties of social media than teenagers. In their homes, classrooms, team meetings, youth groups, etc., Western kids are inundated with warnings about what could happen to them if they fall victim to criminals or manipulators over the Internet.
