Le nouveau président du parlement slovène, Zoran Stevanovic, fait sensation internationale en annonçant un référendum sur une sortie de l'OTAN.

La nouvelle concernant le référendum prévu en Slovénie sur la sortie de l'OTAN est un signal pour ceux qui militent depuis longtemps pour une révision du rôle des États européens dans l'alliance.

If AI was truly intelligent, it would refuse to do needless BS work simply to reap profits for the owners of the AI.

That AI will eventually do most of the work for us seems to be a given. Robots doing martial arts (never mind they were pre-programmed / trained at staggering expense) is "proof" robots will soon do everything humans can do in the real world, only better, and AI agents are "proving" that all digital work will be done by AI.

The defeat of Viktor Orban in Hungary last weekend was celebrated by many who saw the former president as establishing single-party rule in his central European nation. The irony is that this claimed victory for democracy may fuel the establishment of a global governance system that is neither democratic nor accountable to citizens.

The European Union was criticized by many for taking sides in the Hungarian election and for undermining Orban, who asserted national priorities in disputes with the EU.
